“Knowledge is power. Knowledge of yourself is self-empowering…” ~
Dr. Joe Dispenza

Whether it’s DJing for President Obama’s Birthday, performing alongside Hip Hop Superstars such as “Common”, “Doug E. Fresh” and “The Roots” or DJing an elegant event, I’m happy to have created a name that is synonymous with quality and excellence for high-class events around the world. It’s been a blessing to travel the world from the Caribbean to Dubai to France and build my view of art, music and the world from seeing so much of it.

It’s amazing to have spent time in so many different business worlds. I’ve seen it all from Fortune 100 companies to Big 6 Consulting to Boutique Companies and all of these professional experiences have shaped the way I approach the world as an entrepreneur. I consider myself to be a “Renaissance Man” with a formal education, but I also have a degree in the school of life.

I’ve created the musical soundtrack for numerous corporate, social, charitable and athletic events across the country. My DJ career began in 1984 and during my career at Florida A&M University (FAMU), in Tallahassee, FL. After graduating, I hit the Chicago club scene and quickly began to explode on the national stage with successful events and television appearances.

My DJ career has a span of over 20 years in Chicago and in the national circuit, I’ve garnered appearances on national platforms including BET, XM/Sirius Radio, The Doug Banks Show, numerous Super Bowl events, The Tom Joyner Cruise, MLB, NBA and NFL parties. I enjoy spinning a mix of mainstream music including Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Old School Soul/Hip-Hop, House Music & Pop. I never imagined I would be featured on multiple national television shows and have a Chicago program that aired for years, but television, magazines and media have been a pleasant additional to my experience as a DJ.

I’ve had several blogs in the past with thousands of readers, with interests spanning technology, personal development, business practices and much more. Now the Keys to the P’s is my home for sharing my perspective about achieving passion, peace, prosperity and more “P’s” in life.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from FAMU and Master of Science in Business Information Systems from DePaul University, I am also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

(One of my biggest moments as a DJ. The 44th President, Barack Obama shares one of the few “DJ Shout Outs” that you’ll ever hear from a president. I’m super excited that I have this highlight recorded at his birthday event.)

Keys To The P’s is a journey with me as I share what I’ve learned on the path to perspective, passion, peace, prosperity and more.

I’m a voracious reader, a personal development junkie, a strong believer in the law of attraction and I’ve managed to develop a strong desire to feed my “photo-bug” hobby. Whether it’s learning the latest advances in technology, speaking with kids about avoiding the dangers of the inner-city or walking Chicago’s Lakeshore path for miles, no two days for me are the same.

Over the years I’ve seen some incredible things and met some larger than life people. Some individuals were famous and some were just simply impressive. I’ve traveled, I’ve won, I’ve lost and like most people – I’m still on a journey toward success, fulfillment and purpose.

The Keys To The P’s is a place for me to share some of the jewels that I’ve found and to tell my story as I am committed to helping you have a more fulfilling life. More than just being about me, my intention is to create a community of like-minded people who want to share their thoughts and perspectives as well.

Visit often and I’ll be happy to exchange ideas with you!
